Air BAG WARNING LIGHT FLASHING

I had to remove the passanger side the chair.
Gosh my friend threw up in the chair and the floor after drinking last night.
I had to take the chair out by unscrewing the parts.
After cleaning I put the passanger chair back the way I took it out, but the air bad warning light came on.
I wonder what went wrong.
Everything else seems to be working fine but the air bag seems to be the only problem.
I tried to take it out again and reinstall the chair to see if the air bag warning light would disappear but NO!
How can I have the air bag warning lihght flashing go away?
Please let me know.

If you didnt disconnect the battery and you unplugged some odf the electrical components to the chair it could cause those lights to come on

could some please help me? I really don't understand what step 2 means..... it's confusing... can some elaborate it for me word for word? step by step?
but, It doesn't working on my car.

1. Turn ignition switch from OFF to ON.
2. Within 1 second after air bag warning lamp is on for 7 seconds and turns off, turn off ignition switch.
3. After ignition switch is turned off, wait for more than 3 seconds.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times (3 OFF to ON sequences in total)
5. Turn ignition switch to ON.
6. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait for more than 1 second then turn it back ON.

buddy i have the same problem as you lol... i gave up... someone told me.. it could be a sensor inside the seat.

turn ignition switch on... airbag light comes on for ~7 seconds then goes off, you have to turn the ignition switch back to off within one second of when the airbag light goes off, then, when you turn it off you have to wait 3 seconds & do it again.

^^ is this a ecu reset procedure? my frd sat in the passenger seat today crank it all the way to flat, after he return the seat to normal position the passenger airbag light has been on and won't turn off. It this a regular problem with the FX?

09 is different. probably has an occupancy clasification system in place & sensors for the passenger seat, that's the latest in restraint tech, probably need a consultIII to clear it. just tell the dealer how it happened & should be warantee thing.
