Air bag light on dash flashing..help!

Thanx guys, I followed the steps on this forum for the flashing airbag light and it works ! Thank you so much. My '09 FX35 has only 8000 miles and this light come on. Thanx again !:rofl:
 
Tried a few times already and still can't seam to get it right. So how as for step #2. Do I start counting as soon as the airbag warning turns on or when it starts to blink on&off because there are about 3 seconds different between the two.

How long would it take to try it both ways?
 
I got it figured out. I wasnt suppose to "start the car" jus push the button and start counting to 7...hehe

Mine also keeps coming on every 3-4 days or so. Is this covered under an unlimited warranty? So annoying especially when youre driving at night!
 
Nope, no extended warranty on the airbag system. The seatbelts are warranteed for 10 years but the airbag system is not.
 
Once the light is on again you have to get Infiniti/Nissan to scan using their Consult II. They may have to scan while the engine is running. I know that some models would automatically erase the code every time the ignition is cycled.
 
My drivers side airbag was replaced about a week ago for $400. Light came back on today! WTF. This is just annoying. help?
 
on many FX and G models if you're getting airbag light issues, I'd highly recommend taking it to a dealership to look at there are quite a few TSB's and Bulletins that span the FX and G lineup for airbag issues. It could be a simple free fix you never know
