Yea I jelly u basically did wat I wanna do to the fx COs n 22 cv3 but imma go 10.5 all around

Sent from my iPhone

As long as you're not tucking you will be able to do 10.5 all around. You can even space out the rear 25-30mm to make it look more stanced.

i tried doing 10.5 in the front but since I'm bagged the fender hits the tire. No inner clearance for higher offset because the tire will hit my air strut. Sucks.

Vossen CV1

Front Wheel: 22X9.5 +38 offset
Front Spacer: 25mm
Front Tire: 255/35/22

Rear Wheel: 22X10.5 +42 offset
Rear Spacer: 25mm
Rear Tire: 265/35/22

On my CV3 post i said it was a +30. I was wrong, Its +38 front and +42 rear.

A lot of nice rims... but I just haven't seen anything that I like better than the stock FX50s 21" rims. Which is a drag considering the tire situation :D

Do you have any pics of the clearance between fender and rim? It looks tucked in the pics because you're aired out. But a 10.5" +17 in the rear is pretty aggressive. I'm at +25 w/ fenders rolled flat and the bump hammered down some and I still rub a decent amount. But I'm running a 295 tire. So I'd like to see how much extra clearance the 265 provides. Spring project is to try and get a 12" wheel in there and an 10" on the front.

I have to say that I don't see too many rides with nice rims. I only saw a few that were well thought out.

Sir your wheels are absolutely sick!!!!!!!!!! You did a fine job with your complete ride. I was wondering if you have a thread dedicated to your FX alone?

Wondering if anyone can can give me some insight i been researching this comany and been reading good reviews im looking 22x10 +38 offset all around possibly on a 260/40/22 since im also planning on dropping the car on bc coilovers 8umatune.jpg
Im lookin particularly at this model with either a 5" or 6" lip....just wondering if my wheels and tire sz would work or if anyone has ran it before

Btw the wheel company is ac forged...quoted me 3700 for a 3 pc forged wheel set including tires theyve only been around for 2-3 yrs but im hearing their wheels are made in the same factory as vip modular, iforged, forgestar

I responded to your other post, but figured I'll reply to this one as well since you're asking about the lip size here. FWIW, on a 10" wheel, you're not going to get a 5" or 6" lip with a flat face and +38 offset. The way that offset is calculated is from the backpad of the wheel which is the part that meets up with the hub to the center. So a 0 offset wheel would mean that the pad is exactly in the center of the wheel. There is a good amount of room between the face of the wheel and the pad so even if a 10" wheel had 0 offset, you're not going to get 5" of lip. That design looks like maybe 4" of lip on a 10" wheel because they're using a convex face which curves in some to give 4" of lip. You're not going to get 5" or 6" of lip unless you get like a 12" wheel or go deep into the negative offsets, both of which will cause your wheels to stick out like 2" from your fender.

That's the one thing about AC Forged I've noticed, they always advertise 5 or 6" of lip in all their eBay and CL ads which is impossible for a lot of fitments.

anyone put 19x10's +20 offset all the way around on the fx35? any pictures of this setup? If not what about 20x9 +15 front 20x10.5 +20 pictures. thinking about going with the STR 607 wheels but they come in some weird sizes.. just looking to see if anyone has gone with any of these sizes. Also will 20x10.5 +30 offset fit the front?

Before I picked up my 20s, I was considering 19 Rays off the 370z or the ones off the G35 coupe. But after comparing tire prices for 19s and 20s, it was a no brainer.

Don't get 19's, they won't look that much better than the OEM 18's (Aka they will look way too small still), and you limit yourself tire wise. in 20" you have tons of good tire choices in FX sizing.

Go 20" you wont regret it.
