Good luck. I sure hope you get it resolved. Many of us run aftermarket wheels with spacers and have no problems at all.

Any one out there driving smooth with this set up? 22" x 10.5 +40 offset wheels with hub rings using a universal 5mm non hub centric spacers

Get the hub centric spacers like suggested and you will have no issues whatsoever. Get them from a good company though. I got mine from Adaptec and I've had zero issues in three years. I was running 24's on them and needed them to clear the front calipers as well. I had to get extended lugs installed as well. Now I recently went back to the stock 21's after bending my 24's on a pothole and I still run spacers because of the extended lugs and still have no issues whatsoever. I'm going to keep them on because I like the flush look I get with them installed.
