Hello everyone,

Would like some info on what brand of pistons and cams for my supercharged FX35.
What would be the best advantage in changing the piston and cams.

Finally would It be worth it to change just the pistons or change with the cams together.

Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful.

Thanx

Arias Extreme Duty pistons are very stout. There should be no reason to lower the compression ratio unless you're running an insane pulley setup. How much boost we talkin here?

Cams will definitely benefit, but I don't know what lift/duration you should run. Just know that the more aggressive you go on these, the rougher your idle will be. Keep that in mind when weighing the pros and cons of doing all of this to a daily driver, which happens to be a 2nd tier luxury car.

What you should do together is pistons & rods, both are relatively weak for forced induction. Just about any aftermarket rod will be just fine in this case.

If you're planning to go that route, might as well re-build your whole engine IMO. Power gains won't be seen much with just messing with Cams let alone Pistons only, touching pistons/rods etc you might as well build the motor. Doesn't have to be too much as a stroker kit but just a fully built will do the job. There's alot of info on my350z.com on engine building and or pistons/rods and cams etc itself. Not only that when building the engine I'd go turbo over SC. Btw, what SC are you running? If it's stillen I wouldn't recommend even touching the motor.
