4500! Just wanted to let everyone know that I'll be gone for a few months. I leave today for Army Basic Training and will be gone for a few weeks. 10 weeks at Fort Jackson, SC then 12 weeks AIT training at Fort Lee, VA. Some of you knew and some didn't, but I sold my 45 back in April and quietly parted it out since then. Everything except my radio knobs sold! I also bought an old 1985 Mercedes 300CD turbo diesel and kept myself busy during the summer restoring it with Andrew. That will be sold eventually too. Just wanted to say IS is a great community and the best car forum, period. I don't bother wasting my time going to any other car forum. The FX is an amazing car and this is just an amazing community to be part of the fun and contributions. I'll be back in a few months. In a few years I'll be looking at another FX down the road!

Wow, epic 4500th post!

Sad to see that your FX is gone, it was one of the cleanest 1st gen's. Good thing its been hallmarked on the infiniti facebook page :smile (2):. Best of luck in the Army and make sure to visit us from time to time!

sad to see that you get rid of the fx, but also very thankful of all the contributions that you and others like you made to this site that helped me and others like me blow through a ton of money loll.. Best of luck out there and im sure we all agree that we hope to hear from you soon...
 
Andrew, good luck and stay safe while playing with other toys. Thank You so much for all the group and individual help and support you contribute on here. Many of my mods were inspired by your FX, but your classic benz is looking good too. And thanks for finally breaking the silence ;)
 
Take care while you are away and thanks for watching out for all of us here at home. I heard from a little bird you had sold the FX, I was hoping that your radio silence and lack of a sales announcement was indicative of a chnage of heart...no such luck =)
