Hai everyone. I have an '03 35 with 45K miles now and I'm about to call the dealer to setup service and would like to know your guys opinion on how to handle this. About a month ago i went to the dealer for the TSB on the seat creak. Since it was out of warranty the serivce advisor said he couldnt do anything about it now, but was aware of the bulletin on the seats. He told me if I had the infiniti extended warranty, it would be covered with no problem. (should fix it no questions asked imo) I ended up buying one for 4 years/48000 miles, not just for the seat, but I wanted it in general. The advisor was a really nice guy, told me hed take care of my situation. After the purchase went through, he told me to wait a few weeks, then come back to the dealer just to be safe.
Ok so now its that time and ive done a lot more research since then and now I have more issues that should be handled. In addition to the seat creak, I have the faulty fuel gauge, bubbling dash, faded window trim and just recently the rear wheel bearing(s) are going bad. I just plan on going in for an oil change, wheel bearings and seat fixed. Should I just get everything fixed at once? I dont want them to say something like, "the car had those issues prior to your warranty" or they were "preexisting issues" and they wont cover the fix. I was just thinking of getting them fixed over the next few months.
My biggest concern is about the wheel bearings. Will they be covered under warranty? I also have an 06 VW Passat and the bearings went out about three months ago with 34K miles and they covered it no problem. Would love your guys advice or input to my situation.I dont want to say anything stupid at the dealer. Thanks! :.smile:
