Adding Foot well lights

I would like to add some led strips above my foot wells for lighting. I can't seem to find a previous thread. Did they only start putting them in on 09's? Or are both my bulbs blown?! :at-wits-end:
Anyway, can someone tell me where to splice into for the 12v? I added these to a vehicle before, but it already had footwell lights, so I just cut the bulb and socket off and wired directly to that wire.

You can tap the door courtesy light so that everythime your door opens it'll turn on

I added LED lighting to the foot wells in my fx, I connected the 12V source to the fuse box using a fuse tap wire. I have a pic in my garage that you can check out. I bought an LED kit from ledglow.com

Yes, wind dance, that is what I would like to do. I just have to figure out where the wire is!

I haven't done this yet, but if you open up the door panel and follow the colored wires from that light through the wire bundle where the door meet the frame into the cabin you can tap it there. LEDs use so little energy that I doubt it'll mess with the fuse.

Can someone tell me what fuse number to put the fuse tape wire into to add the footwell lights? I want them to go on and off with the rest of the interior lights. Thanks

Bump? I am trying to do this too. I was gonna take off the door panel and fish the wire through the factory wiring casing, but that is just too much work.
