2017 QX70
Hello Community,

I was recommended www.sprintboosterusa.com to enhance the car's acceleration. The website provides a list of compatible vehicles and they do list FX35 up to year 2012, but there is no QX70. Wondering if there is anything different between FX35 2012 and QX70 2017 that would not allow to get this sprint booster installed.

This video provides a good review of what this product does:

Thanks!

Waiting for a response from the company's website, if the listing will work in the qx70....my first response to you was the original info listed on their pull down menu.

The fx37 has a different engine. To my knowledge the FX37 and the QX70 are the same but the fx35 is different engine wise.

There are more shop's that build these thing's, I have one in my FX35 from a German tuning company, it has 21 settings going from low to max response. Been playing around with it for the past 2 year's, it certainly works, but after 2 years I have it on "OFF".
Pedal response is UP, no doubt about that, it's the tranny response that killed it for me, because you are actually pressing the accelerator much deeper than you feel, the tranny downshifts much too soon, making it impossible to hold a gear by feel and climb in rev's to achieve more torque.
Because fuel consumption increases, I only used it when I would drive, and switched it off for my wife, I DO NOT recommend this, the tranny went a bit haywire, making weird shift's, like it was asking "what the hell do you want? Miss Daisy or a lead foot?" I finally just left it on permanently and the tranny started acting normal again, but after 6 month's I finally switched it off, you can fine tune pedal response, but I prefer the pedal/tranny interaction without it.

Of course, If you always shift manually, you wouldn't have this problem, and then I would definitely recommend using one, just watch your MPG :(

Thank you for your input, everyone. I called the company before posting here, they couldn't tell me if their product is compatible with QX70. Pretty unhappy with the car's acceleration and am tempted to try this thing out..

I never got a response from company on compatibility with the QX-70. I would be cautious using a device that the company selling it cant tell you it if is applicable for use with the QX-70.

I don’t think throttle response is what’s holding the car back. It’s the 7 speed auto, it’s not the fastest shifting tranny out there and the 8 speed ZF tyranny that most Germans use and dodge in their chargers leaves Infiniti’s 7speed auto in the dust.

I don’t think this tool is going to give you the response you are looking for. I always use the manual shifting whenever I’m driving a little aggressively as the tranny takes it’s sweet ass time especially if you are cruising between 40-60 mph and the tranny is in its highest gear, it takes time for the tranny to shift down, that’s just the way it is.

These things will improve throttle response, no doubt about it, at max setting my FX become's way too sensitive for daily driving, but with 21 settings you can find a sweet spot. It wil not make shifts faster, but sooner! If you hate driving slightly uphill and find yourself pushing the pedal deeper and deeper until that thing finally starts to move, you will just love what these things do, just touch your pedal and your FX will take off.
But like I said before, I find pedal/tranny interaction optimal in stock setting. I checked with the company where I bought mine and they have one listed for the QX70, it's a German tuning company but they have a page for USA based customers. It's 299$ if you want you can check it out at chiptuning.com, just scroll down the page and choose your language.
