Absolute Sound System

Where did you run the power from and how? I know the battery but where did you go thru the firewall? Just spliced into the OEM sub wires with a inline RCA converter? Looking to hook my subs up, want something I can take out easy though for road trips etc when trunk space is needed...

Power was connected from the battery. There is a big rubber grommet behind the battery that we ran the power wire through.(seal this with silicone around the p.wire!) Next look at your sub. There is a pink wire..that is your remote wire. There is also a black and white wire, these are your RCA's. These are on the opposite side of your plug from the green w/ orange strip and thicker black wire.

pink=rem
white=rca
thin black=rca
green w/ orange stripe= power
thicker black=ground

DO NOT USE green or black to wire power and ground! run your own wires.

FXtion did a nice write up of this somewhere.....found it:

///2811

Did you use any of the wires to the BOSE sub for this install? I assumed you completely removed the BOSE? Any photos of the wiring, or a write up of how you got it done?

The Bose Speaker is now obsolete.

As for the wiring... Look at the previous post from Toy4fx and it will tell you the wires you will need to tap into to make this work.

My FX is at the shop getting some mods done and when im done I will be more than happy to take pics of the wiring..
