Hi I just got both my front wheel bearings done and the shop I went to told me the only way to get the ABS sensors out was break them since the y were seized. They had the sensors on order and let me have the car til they came in a few days later. All those lights were on since I had no sensors. Now after I get the ABS sensors installed I still have those lights on. Except the brake light goes off then on again. Nothing else has gone off. I told one of the manager's the lights were still on. He said the new sensors have to adjust after driving it a little while then the lights should go off. Does this sound right? Shouldn't they go off once the new sensors are installed?

Yeah... Something's wrong. They should go off fairly quickly... You might actually have low brake fluid, or low pads (causing the brake fluid to seem low)...

The place fixed it. It was a wheel bearing they put on. It had a groove in it that shouldn't have been there. It kept tripping the lights. And also one of the sensors they got had to be replaced at no additional cost if course. Now everything is fine. Lights went out.

Damn, two times I replaced front left wheel bearing and both times the mechanics screwed up on ABS sensors having me to buy them. The reasoning was like yours that they were seized and stuff. I don't know....somethings telling me it was just overlooked and once you try to remove the hub with the sensor still on it just snaps...
Well I had enough of that so... now it sounds like that same bearing is due to be changed again (40000 km since last time replaced) and this time I am just going to do it myself.
