A little help on a sport console for an 07 FX35

I have the brushed aluminum console and I'm thinking about sanding it all then re-clear coating it because I'm tired of how scratched up it is.

You should. I used steel wool on mine a few weeks ago and it turned out really nice. I did not use clear coat on it, I will just use metal polish from time to time.

So Andrew, has yours kept the shiny stainless look so far? No oxidation?

Yes, its looking good still, just really dirty. I haven't used metal polish on it since I brushed it. I need to go buy some and get it done already.
