Some of you guys had asked for pics of my 6sp manual '06. I will be taking a lot more photos this weekend, but here is a shot of the shifter. I have several months on the setup and I can't begin to describe the differences it made. Performance, mileage, fun to drive, attention factor when I heel/toe downshift an FX, etc.. All thumbs up. It has custom software, so everything works with original harness/ecu...no tearing stuff out. Dyno'd 250 whp , 240 wtq with the swap and tune (still has stock air filter).

Awesome, but I have to admit that shift boot looks HORRIBLE. Not just bad, but horrible...

If MC Hammer's pants were made into a shift boot, that's what it would look like.

Otherwise, great job with the driveability with the software issues and whatnot, and I'm sure it's fun as hell to drive... I would've loved to have converted my FX to a manual back in the day.
 
The boot can be shortened/tightened up. It has a short shift kit. Given the high armrest we extended the lever 1.5 in so you don't have ot reach for it..it's quite comfortable, and shifts nice.
