626 FX - 22" EXE Konvex Wheels - Pictures

Yeah I looked at it this morning - and the only ones that I liked were the ones that 626 has already and I wasnt gonna bite his style.....
I like your MODS, but if you're gonna change, you're OB, so it wont crimp his style. I say go for it.

So we could see the offset from side, but pretty much know what it looks like now. In that size, it's equivalant to Stock with a 21mm spacer.

Here's some options. If ya Dont like 'em, that's cool. Beryllium looks good with chrome too. Great color.

Dave, I know it's been a while since you did this. Is there anyway that you can photo shop this pic. Leave my head lights the stock sport edition, but leave the grille black. Want to see how my FX would look just with a black grille. I want to keep my head lights just the way they are (smoked).

Let me know.

Thanks Dave.

damn Dave, thanks again. your too quick. So what do you think...

should I go for it? Maybe I should buy another grille and keep my smoked grille.

or do what I did and apply some vinyl over the grill. easy install, easy removal. I would never want to paint the smoked grill myself (too rare), if you want to paint, then get another one.

I can do a DIY, but its pretty easy.

* get some black vinyl (sign shops have them) a few feet will do
*cut strips about the width of grill lines
*cut to length
*stick on grill (clean) and use a razor and follow top line of grill and cut
*wrap bottom part of vinyl underneath
*make sure the sides are tucked in
*done in 20 min.

the emblem can be left chrome or you can always buy one to paint. or use stock one (held on with double sided tape)

Absolutely beautiful car. I am picking up my new FX tomorrow. Willl be buying new tires and wheels. How much harsher is the ride when you go from 20" to 22?" Any thoughts would be appreciated.

PLEASE do a DIY i want to do this mod. how does it look? can u take a pic closer to the grill to see details.

If Alan hadn't told me it was vinyl..I would never have known. If you look REALLY close, you can probably see some air bubbles. But I really like this idea...faster, never chips, and cheaper. And if you want to go back to chrome...just peel it off. I would assume it will eventually have to be redone due to fading?

Oh cool. What year and color of FX are you getting? Well, it's a bit harsher but not that bad. Just depends on road conditions. With 22's you still have some rubber. If road conditions in your area are not bad then you will be fine. Where do you live?

Lets have a mini mod meet. hahahaha I like the idea that we can peal it off.

sorry for jacking your thread Carlos.

we should have a meet after the holidays
Yes we should. You probably need a hair dryer to form around the bumps on the grille?

No problem Alan. Thanks for the info.

I like the never chips part.

Hey, thanks guys. Glad you like them. You know, it's hard work shopping for wheels.

LMAO Will, you got that right. That is Cowboy burger. I just went to the business park behind it so I can take some pics.

Now I need my H&R's. hopefully I can get them soon.

I need some of my pics to get the InfinitiScene water mark. Anyone help me out?

I picked some up H&Rs at TireRack last night. They had 2 in stock at the time.
