60k mile service this Friday

I am getting my 60k mile service done this Friday @ LMS in Monrovia.

Dealer quoted me $700 and LMS quoted me half that.

I'll let you guys know my final costs and what extra work I had done. I know I need new brake pads and rotors checked.

I heard this place does a good job so we'll see.

I agree Dr. 2K.

Went to LMS for the first time yesterday and not only does his shop do excellent work, Steve is a real nice guy.

The 60k service took about 4 hours but I was able to use one of their loaners so my girlfriend and I headed over to Din Tai Fung for lunch.
My brakes were at 60% so that was good.

I'm thinking of getting rid of my rims, 24 seems too big and I like how the stock rims look powdercoated.

I will continue to use LMS and I have recommended them to some of my buddies.

I think it is. Since you are doing it every so often and maintenance is the best way to keep your FX in the condition you want it in.

My 45k service was a rip off. Got it done at Santa Monica Infiniti b/c it's close to my work and I know I overpaid and they found other stuff to repair.

These service advisors work on commission also so they always want to find a way to make more $$$$.
 
Since my issue is related, I didn't want to start a new thread. But I'm due for a 30,000m package which is the same as 60k. My dealership in town here want to charge $1k because it's AWD. I trust their work, which is why I'm considering it, but I don't want to pay that much. Are there any suggestions of what kind of other shops I could look for to get it all done? I wish I was closer to you guys some times.... I'd take it to LMS too.
 
My infiniti dealer wanted $1300 for 60K, but the Nissan dealer did it for about $850. I was more worried about taking my FX to somebody competent. Even the Nissan dealer forgot to put the correct amount of oil in it.
 
My 30k at the dealer was under $800, but they didn't do an alignment or change the air filter.
 
I'm sure a Nissan dealer can perform the same work at a lower cost.
