Humberto the problem is that I'm in Italy too far for doing a mod by phone. But let me know something about the pre wired kit , his price and if you can send it in Italy
Berto, what pre-wired setup do you have? The relay for the DTRL mod?

Headlights are 4300K HID, while foglights are just halogen.

Bumping this thread, since I don't want to create another one and searched with keyword "HID foglight installation."
The HID kit is plug and play correct? Aside from removing the front bumper? I used to have a Civic and to install the HID foglights, it required drilling into the foglights itself, in order to make room for the bulb and grommet. I also had spare foglights just in case I messed up, but not this time. So, I would like to avoid the drilling this to prevent from damaging anything sensitive or expensive for that matter. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, for the reply. I'll pick up a set soon then. I have a local guy who is having a blowout sale on HIDs. $55 w/shipping and a lifetime warranty.

There's really nothing to mess up as it is all just plug and play with new HID kits. But you may want to increase the fuse amp for the fog lights from 15 to 20 I believe. I forget what the stock fuse amp was for the fog lights but just increase it by 5.

cool, i'll give it a shot. where would i locate the fuse for the foglights?
It is located behind the battery. You will have to remove the plastic battery compartment cover and the passenger side lower windshield trim to be able to remove the fuse cover. Removing the battery cover and trim is pretty easy too. Just held in place by a few plastic clips.
What model year FX do you have? You may want to add that to your "Ride" info.

glad the Doc help you guys out. I still have my ebay HID slim kit and still going strong. the only complaint I have is , if I leave the foglights on and the HL comes on with auto, sometimes only 1 bulb is on. I would have to turn off then turn on for both to work. I have read this is common on most aftermarket (?) HID fogs.
lol jbaker. I will buy some $50 lights , apply my own stickers and sell them to you for $250. that way I could do a warranty replacement for you in the future and still be ahead.

i have a 2005, and i'll add that info in right now.
Good luck with it, it is really that difficult. The hard part is if you want to do this with the bumper off or on. It is easiest and most convenient for optimal placement of the ballasts with the bumper off but you can also do this with the bumper on.
To do this with the bumper on you just have to remove the stock air intake box on the driver's side and the coolant reservoir tank on the passenger side. Then you can reach down from the top to get at the fog light bulbs. Btw, longer arms help when doing it this way, lol. Good luck and if you get stuck just post it up here and someone will offer their assistance.
