What do you think?

I would call and make sure they could do the foglights for that price since its not just plug and go, you have to remove front bumper.
Also $140 installed = $60 more than the kit from ebay ($80).

if they do it, make sure they secure it nicely.

I just like the fact that they are about a 10 min drive and don't have to wait for the item since it needs to be shipped. Then 1 year warranty so sounds good. I'll give them a call and find out.

Thanks for confirming JC.

I was thinking....

What if I do 6000K head lights and yellow HID fogs? That would look good with my Berylium right and my orange LED bulbs? Should I just go for the 6000k fogs and head lights?

I think that's a great look .. I've been e-mailing this cheapo HID stores on ebay to see if they have H8 in yellow but no one has it. I had the Nokia H8 yellow in before and I still like the way it looked, it just wasnt as bright like my setup now.

Oh cool. Well I want bright. So guess I should just get 6,000K all around.

if you can get 3k bulbs it'll be yellow, jc's got h8's so he can't find them but you got the earlier style so you might be able too

I like the yellow too & I'll do yellow fogs myself, whenever I get around to actually putting foglights in that is:err:

FYI You don't have to remove front bumper - it is a lot easier though. Rhino ramps and remove bottom plastic guard and you have enough access to do the install (how mine were done).

yes I was going to go that route, but opted for full frontal removal lol. Basically i wanted to install the ballast at a location best suited for it (up high and out of waters way and secure it so it wont vibrate).
but at least you got her done !

I just installed the new set this weekend. Good product.. Compared to the MTEC it's pretty good.

But, I was at the Hollywood Park Casino today and when they were pulling up the car one of the HID fogs was out.:err:

Just turned the fogs off and on and all ok now.. ughgh.. so close to cursing at my lights again..

That happens to me once in awhile, I think the fuse is not high enough when it starts up both fogs but after you shut them off and then turn it back on they're OK.

You're exactly right. The pull to ignite them is too great sometimes. A solution is NOT to have your fog-lights on "on" and leave them on off. When your headlights come on, then turn them on.

The draw from the headlights AND foglights sometimes makes for one of my fog lights to not light up.

You could re-wire or I guess maybe add a different fuse, but that seems too much work for me=) I'm happy enough just turning on the headlights first then fogs. I noticed this a lot when it's real cold out. Maybe getting an optima will help, no idea.

I have done this mod and connected it to the DTRL...

This new kit would involve a bit more work.. but here is what it looks like and I had go thru a 30amp fuse..

Are you guys running a relay or did you just plug them into the stock fog wiring? Running a relay might help with igniting problems.
