Hi all

I just installed my 6k HID foglight conversion kit I bought from ebay. I opted for the slim version and they say its made in Korea. ($79.50 shipped)

Everything connected very easily and I only had to use the wires for the bulb, the other wire for the plug extension was not used.

Removal of the front bumper was not hard, all the front Lower 10mm screws the inner wheel piece was 'bent out of the way to get to the 2 10mm screws holding the bumper to the body (under headlight) and some plastic push button clips on grill area.

Passenger side: ( I used double sided tape on the back of the ballast and the mount bracket)

Wow $29.00!!!!!!! What a steal. But really I hope that old adage does not apply to this VERY inexpensive kit...you know the one 'You get what you pay for'. If these last a year then I guess you got your monye's worth.

Wow, they look nice. I want 6k fogs and install 6k head lights to match.

I took into consideration that the seller had good feeback and 1 year warranty.

For what they are, I like them. But think it would look nice to have the same color all around. Of course the HID are going to be brighter than LED bulbs.
 
They look great, way better than the zip tie job I did on my fogs.

I wouldn't really worry about the price, I have a cheap set of hid fogs on my wrx and zero problems so far, sometimes it's better not to pay for the name.
 
yeah i bought a bunch of cheap one on ebay avg about 150 and they all have been pretty good.

Was it hard to take the bumper off?

I think i would go with the yellow HID for a JDM look, it seems everyone has matching light.

bumper removal wasn't that bad, but it was like a puzzle being this is the first time I took off this bumper. The whole process took about 2 hours.

I just love the way these ebay guys get you in the door with the low ball price but screw you in the back end with their ridiculous shipping charges!:mad: $55.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
i think the whole scam is that you buy it knowing its total cost is 80$ and they only have to pay ebay a percentage of 23$

stupid is what stupid does... i think thats how it goes. anyways, you will be happy with them , I am so far:driver:

as far as high shipping, ya I noticed that, but its the final amount that I am most concerned about. Like Dr said, if I get 1 year with these I'll be ok.
