This might sound like a stupid question but our new to us 2005 fx35 did not come with an owners manual, so my question is what is the recommended oil 5w or 10w? thanks. Eric

My car didnt come with a manual when I bought it either so I called the dealership and told them and they gave me one the next day. If you got your car from a Nissan/Infiniti dealer you should try it, but even if you didnt, I would still try because they might be able to get their hands on one. Doesnt hurt.
