you should of got hid not led, because running anything but halogens doesnt light the outter halo ring well.. I tried expensive leds but didnt like it, ended up running hid and i like it

Your AE's look good, but the outer ring is still dimmer than the inner which is the typical complaint. Those look way better than lots of others where you can barely see the outer ring. It's just the way it's designed, 1 bulb and the ring has to disperse light. LED's sometimes make the problem worse since they're very directional.

Only way to get totally even lighting would be to replace the rings themselves with full blown LED ones, but that gets pretty expensive and you have to take the headlights apart.

HAHA, especially with that "Monte Carlo Blue"!
