4300K fogs with 6000K d2s

Does anyone have 4300K on fog lights and 6000K on the d2s.
Do you see a nice difference with the 6000K fogs.
Would it not be practical to use 4300k to give a better view since the lum. is stronger on the 4300K.
I currently have 6000K on my d2s.
Would it not match to the extent that it looks awful.
My reason for this is that i rarely ever use fog lights since i like to see out farther.
I would think that the 6000K would make all the signs and horizon a sexy blueish look which it does now and have the fogs at 4300 so that it can light up Farther.
Am I crazy. I always can buy a cheap $20 bulb to interchange.
Thanks in advance.

i have the stock D2S bulbs, but I want to get 6000k. maybe we can trade somehow and help each other out? just lemme know, and we can see if something works out.
i may have misunderstood you question, but i personally would go for the 6000k head/fog lights if it was me.

Just go out and buy the 6000 and try it. I won't go any higher , and I love mine.

6000 fogs are great and they match very close to my 6000 headlights.
I have a post with the pics (click on my sig). AS you can read, I have the cheapo ones and they work great for me, not water leaks.

also 626fx just installed HID fogs

I can see a big difference if the fogs are off. I get much better visibility w/ them. I always have the fogs on!

I have a 6000K 9006 HID kit in my fogs right now and the color match looks great. However it does jack shit for light output. it lights up the ground right in front of the car like crazy, but doesn't do anything at all beyond like 10 feet. Not sure what people are talking about when they're referring to improved visibility at distance.

For me, its more important to look at the road signs and street markers. These light up much better that no fogs on. and the HID makes it pop. Ran LED and after market bulbs which sucked.

Maybe I miswrote but let me clarify. I currently have the 6000K D2S headlights. I love them and am enjoying them. I have regular halogen fog lights.
I WILL make them HID with a slim ballast but wondering if i got the 4300K, would that compensate for the luminosity loss of my headlights? I also am wondering if anyone has a 6000Khead and 4300K fogs. I want to know if they are that bad in terms of mismatching.

I seen anyone go 6000k on HL and 4300k on Fog. I did got the other way around and I like my current setup. Some people even go higher in K.
the bulbs for the HID fogs are cheap, you could always just try it out.

Your right.
I am going to post pics as well. I will do a 4300K fogs with my 6000k headlights. I bought my headlights for $20 shipped so i will try it out and if not will switch to 6000K fogs.

My goal here is to get the BETTER visibility and luminosity from the 4300 fog lights and still have the blueish tint from the 6000K headlights to give me that "sexy sight (c)" :)
I will write a review up on how it looks.

good idea and hope you can decide on which is better for you. BTW look at this picture, some have LED , some OEM, and some HID 6000k , can you tell which one? (also I am running ambers on my DTRL thats why they look so yellow. I switched the turn bulbs into DTRL and installed LED for turn)
I just realized that trainerken (second FX from right) has 4300k oem, so similar colors for what you are looking for.

No one there has the setup i want.
PS i already have the cool white led in my DTRL.
I hate yellowish lights on cars. It's gotta be cool white for me.

Doesn't matter all that much between the 4300k or the 6000k HID's in the fog lights because fogs are not meant to go out that far. 6K headlights and 4300k fogs will be different and will not match to well...it will look yellow when compared with the 6k.

if you hate yellowish lights then I think you answered your own question. I think you will be much more happy w/ 6000k.
BTW I hate yellow also, but the ones I use are on "bright" all the time and I am liking it. So everyone has their own preference and you can only judge which combo you like.
here is a color chart

Here is my 6K fogs and 6K hl's, I have no problems with visibility. 4300K has the highest lumens at 3200 and 6000k is at 2800 lumens. You should have plenty of light with both hl's and fogs at 6K.
