Spotted this white Chevy Camaro SS today, with huge Pirelli tires 405/25/ZR24. Also noticed the car was running OE brakes i.e Calipers/ Small bike rotors just like our fx. Looks sick, but wouldnt this car handle poorly?
Found the car
2012 Wide body Chevy Camaro ZL1 at the 2011 Dub Show - YouTube

-Price: $400-$700 for each tire.
-Rim Size to fit: 15'' WOW!

-(Lamborghini Murcielago lp640 rear tires: 335/30/ZR18, rim size 13) what a difference!

This guy apparently running on 24x18 inch rims

I like the stance from the rear and the kit is nice.. Personally, I wouldn't park that car in the compact section... so tight that it's asking for door dings.

The white Challenger is in Atlanta, I drove behind it a few months back. It is ridiculous looking, not in a bad way. But it does look somewhat awkward. Same problem as the Camaro, the wheels are huge, but so is the wheel gap.

OEM brakes wouldn't necessarily make the car handle poorly, the stopping distances would just be rather long since the 24" wheels are so heavy. The 24" wheels definitely don't help with the handling though.

i agree:tup:

Reminds me of an 18 wheeler I saw once. Instead of the double wheels/tires it just had one wheel with a huge tire like this. Guess it wasn't an 18 wheeler though.

would they fit under the fx ? lol

ive seen those on a cement and dump truck and on the 18 wheel heavy load transporters

I'm usually a fan of staggered setups, but this may be just a little too much for me. It almost looks like a toy in the pictures, more funny than menacing.

The owner is a fan of large rims. Could be this guy. :eek.:
