350z steering wheel on 2003 fx35

I found some of those connectors under steering wheel in JY and used pins and wires from that. But the clock I got was bad has to order another. Haven't had a chance to start back on it due to crzu work schedule.

The 06+ FX steering wheels comes with illuminated buttons. The illuminated buttons would have the function label on the button rather then on the top/bottom of the button on the aluminun piece. If the 350Z steering wheel is illuminated, you have to get an 06+ steering wheel clock spring to replace your 03 one. The 03 - 05 FX clock spring doesn't have the pin to power up the buttons. I have modded my 03 with an 07 steering wheel with illuminated buttons.

Here is the 07 steering wheel and 06+ cluster in my 03.

Glad you stick to it and got it done.
Thanks man. Here's what I got done over the weekend. Trying to do this by yourself is a major B!+(#:giggle::X3:and my :mad:F#<%!@ heat gun stop working so the bottom of the hood got a lil wonky. Needless to say this was my first time doing this and not too shabby of a job:rolleyes:. Also when you get a sec, I'll need the write up for the cluster. Hopefully it won't take forever to find a cluster with ICC and I'm probably going to have to send it off to get it re-calibrated for my mileage. :iS: thanks you for all of your great work and the sharing of the knowledge.
