Pretty big newbie here when it comes to the technical aspects. Really looking to upgrade the exhaust and not too keen on spending big on Ark, Invidia, etc. More so interested in straight pipes/muffler delete. With that being said, I am having trouble figuring out exactly what I need to purchase for this (G37 pipes, idk?). Another thing to note is I have installed the Kurt trailer hitch sooo not to sure how that might affect fitment or if it is even possible still.
Is this something I could walk into a reputable exhaust shop and they would be able to figure it out? I would prefer to walk in there with knowledge of what I want (parts, fitment, etc.).
Anyone who is willing to dumb it down for me would be extremely helpful.
Not looking to rice up the sound too much, I dig the growl just want more of it. If the cheaper straight pipe option isn't going to achieve that, then recommendations on the more expensive full options is welcome as well. Is that route as easy as visiting the Ark/Invidia websites and entering my vehicle info and that's all I'll need?
Located in Chicago if anyone locals has some real recommendations..
