Great find, they look pretty sweet. Just curious on running wires inside...shouldn't be too hard
 
Running the wire is not, but taking or prying the taillights off the defender definitely is. After removing those 10mm bolt from the hatch opening, you have to pry the light off the fender. It is held on by two of those similar pin as you may have seen in the first gen. There are two of those pin holding it in place. Also, the outer edge of the taillight is sharp and thin, which mean they are easily cracked. I think it is best to find the taillight controller box behind the trunk trimmings and tab for power from there than try to tab onto the wire off the taillights.
 
Yeah getting the taillights out is a pain. These wouldd look OK though. I personally don;t love the extra added light, kind of looks too 'tacked on' to me. Great new option though

have you seen in person? Looks terrific in person.
 
I have the red version. And it doesn't look tacked on at all because those reflectors are actually a part of the bumper. Looks oem like it's suppose to be there. The clear ones don't look nice unless the tail lights were clear too.
 
I'm saying the extra lights in the reflectors look too "hey look I added more lights" to me.

EDIT: I was totally wrong, how have I never noticed that before...?

Honestly I dislike the look of the EX's so I don't pay much attention to them on the road...

Got mine finally installed, only hooked up stop/driving lights, couldn't find the reverse feed line in the right side connector. Any hint where to connect?
