Does anyone make an LSD 1.5way for the 2nd gen? My diff bushing is cracked and its an expensive job to replace that because the whole rear subframe has to come out. I would ratger just do an LSD than spend alot of money at the dealer to replace BUSHINGS. (i dont have the time to replace them) Ill just wait for the other rear subframe bushings go out. And are there any polyurethane solid rear bushings for the 2nd gen? Thanks!

I doubt there is anything FX-specific on the market but knowing infiniti it may be possible to make a G37/350z one 'fit'

the rear diff for the V6 is shared with many infinitis and nissans. you could use a stock 350Z VLSD or get an aftermarket unit. Now, the diff ring and pinions as well as the axle shafts will be different but you only need to get the LSD assembly and install it in your diff carrier.

thanks for the replies! I was looking at the cusco 1.5 way for the 1st gen FX35 and G35 Automatic... Im sure I can get it to fit somehow... but i dont want to risk spending $1,500 on something that might not fit...

It'll fit, but as neitjnf said you need to swap out some other stuff too. 370z/g37 can use the first gen diffs. My concern would be whether the stuff that has to be swapped is compatible with the 7AT and an FX.

I know this is a bit of an old thread but just for future reference...I'm "assuming" we have the open diff pumpkin. If that's the case, skip the OEM VLSD, they wear out rather quickly. Skip the clutch-types, too noisy, can wear out and need lots of maintenance. Check out either the Torsen or the Wavetrack. By far the best options for daily drivability, longevity and zero maintenance.

Okay, G37 lsd from a manual NOT a direct bolt up!

Maybe if the output shafts from a limited slip differential for an FX 50S, bolt on I'll be in business. I overpaid for those today, should be there tomorrow...

STay tuned...

Nope, can't even identify a number for limited slip stub axles to fit a second gen FX37 or qx70.
LSD stub axles are unequal length, open differential stubs meet in the middle, different order for the sections of splines too...can't find any, Nissan Nismo does not have a number or FX/qx lsd differential!?
Looking at advertising for new Q50, they listed features and packages, very little about performance, mainly just engines.
Then a whole paragraph listing new drivers aids, lane departure alarms and helpful devices.
They're selling tons more QX60's than QX70's. Infiniti drivers, according to current statistics are more willing to pay for a third row, than a sportier QX70...by a significant margin.
Eau me a Rouge red V8 RWD FX, with positrac. Catch me if you can ....

Anyway the autopilot (VDSC) works pretty well in my 2013. I probably just need to rethink my priorities.

Has anyone put a 3.692 differential from an awd Fx/qx into a RWD one??
