28PSI Rad Cap

I was reading somewhere that you can use a higher PSI rad cap on your car and that will prevent the coolant form entering the expansion tank?

What kind of damage can this do to your engine? I'm not planning on doing it but am considering because my coolant ends up in my expansion tank and not back into the rad, so often i have to siphon it back into the rad. (might be a blown head gasket) i know but I'm looking for possible temporary solutions until i decide to get the headgasgets replaced.

Get the air out of the system and go easy on the throttle. High rpm's force air into the coolant via a small breach in one of the head gaskets. This air displaces the coolant in the block which ends up in the reservoir.

I'm getting my headgaskets waterpump and timing chain done, dropping it off next week. 2010 FX35 with 170K miles. Costing me 3500.00 save up months for this job to get done, buying a "new" car doesnt seem like a good investment as i dont want another high car payments and high ens insurance coverage.

3500 now vs. 35-40K in 4/5 years for a new car.
I'll spend the 3500.
