285/40 or 285/35 for 22's

285/40 or 285/35 for 22's inch wheels ? the 35's would be lower profile any recommendations ? going from stock 18's

If you're stock height or lowered on springs, either would work. If you plan on going very low, get the 35. But overall, my preference would be 35. The 40 series look a little beefy in 285.

I ride on H&R and I had the 285/35/22. I switched over to 265/40/22 Hankook's and enjoy the ride much more.

matters on the rim, some rims looks nice with 40 profile series and some dont. If you have cheap rims that are heavy 285 35 will make the ride harsh
