24 inch wheel alignment in NY?

Looking to get a wheel alignment in NY but everywhere I call seems to tell me they can't do 24 inch wheels. Most places are saying the biggest they can do is 20 inch, one place so far said 22 inch but no luck with the 24's. Anyone know a place in NY that can get the job done? Maybe somewhere that specializes in SUV and truck wheels? I know a few of us on this forum have spoken about this in another thread somewhere but I can't seem to find the thread.

Or at last somewhere in the tri-state area?

Are there any custom wheel shops in your area that do alignment? Around here the only places that can align a 24" or larger wheel are the high end wheel shops that sell a ton of 24" or larger wheels. A lot of shops here can't even install larger than 22" tires since the machine won't do it. Same with alignment, they can't spread the clamps wide enough to get it on the rim.

Do you have your OEM wheels? If you can't find a shop, you could always slap those on and get it aligned. Wheels don't have any impact on alignment. It would be a hassle to swap around though.

I run 20s for winter. I go in for an alignment check at the end of the winter each year before I swap back into my 24" summer setup.

Thanks fellas I thought I needed to have the wheels and tires on the car that it was going to be driven with after the alignment. If all else fails and it doesn't matter I'm going to put the stocks back on and go get the alignment.

Jbaker I will call Dunn Sport though first. Thanks.

Just got off the phone with Intrack. They said they have the latest machine and with the tire specs I gave them they said they can do it. I have my fingers crossed that they do a good job I'm going to go see them on either Tuesday or Wednesday. I'll update the thread and let everyone know ow it worked out. Thanks again hammermill.

Cool good luck.

+1 for Intrack. I've been there for wheel repair and they did an awesome job at a great price. Kenny (da mayor),who used to be active on this forum, had recommended them to me also and believe he hangs out there a lot.

intrack tires is the best place that i been to. i always refer people to them, and all have had a A+ experience with them. if you have instagram, check them out if your the visual type.

Intrack did my alignment and it came out great. They are a really busy shop though and they don't work by appointment which can make them seem a bit hectic but they were running through the work load quickly without sacrificing service so I'll be returning in the future. Jason was real cool and he even gave me a break on the price because there was a mix up with my arrival time and I ended up waiting a very long time for the job to get done. If they had a suggestion box my only suggestion would be to consider working by appointment times. Anyhow the job would have cost me $80.00 at full price and they are using a Hunter alignment machine which looked real state of the art lol. Just wanted to update especially so any NY'ers running 24's know they have an option with Intrack.

I don't have 24's but I had great experience with CNM Auto Repair in 75-01 51st Ave, Queens. It is a typical small shop run by some no non-sense hardy guys. They installed my camber correction kit and were very patient trying to put my alignment back to factory specs after the BC coilover installation. The whole operation took them beyond their closing hours yet they took it like a champ and complete the job till I was satisfied with the result.

I'll keep them in mind. If they can do 24's also maybe I will check them out in the future. You can never have too many reliable shops in the rolodex.
