I am having a hard time understanding the offset calculator, but read a lot of posts here and think I have an idea. maybe not

having a hard time finding a set of black 22s that will sit flush, not rub, with a nice lip.

Finally found a set in 9.5 width and +38.

I think with these measurements it will tuck a bit, right?

I want to run a 265/40/22 tire

thanks

guessing but you would prob need 20 or 25mm spacers to make it flush.

fwiw im running 20x8.5 +40mm offsets on 25mm spacers and it sits flush.

The best way to understand it is to go out and measure the additional distance from your current setup. If you are currently running the stock 8" et40 rims your new outer rim edge will extend 21mm further. So measure 21mm from your current outer lip and that is where your new rims outer lip will sit.

they dont have this particular wheel on bigwheels, the Giovanna Caracas

pman thanks I dont want to run any spacers!

ah the calculator makes more sense now, thank you. I do have the stock 20s, so 21mm more = .82 inches. eek. Guess I am looking for wheels a bit more.

With a 9.5 you should be able to go up to an et15, that would make it flush with the fenders. You would need to get your rear fenders trimmed or rolled though.

my previous wheels were that size and to get them flush 20mm spacers will be very flush but the 25mm will be a little bit better, I am thinking go with the 20mm spacers.

I'm running on 22x9.5 et40 (260/40/22). Added 25mm on four corners, wheels are flush. I've no plans (at least not yet) of dropping her so I didn't need to roll any fenders.
