Well the wheels I have been waiting for for 4 weeks finally arrived today only I ordered 20X9 inch and they sent 22X9 inch instead. The price difference was about 500.00 but since it was their screw up they said I could keep these with no extra charge.
So guess I will be sporting 22"s soon.

My questions:
How will my MPG be affected?
Has anyone run the Hankook 265/40/22 RH06
Are they the best choise for snow?
How do they ride rough or smooth?
American Tire Depot in Hesperia has them for 854.91 mounted and balanced.

I was looking at the Yokahama parada spec X 265/40/22 but they are backordered.
and I read that the Falkens have some balancing issues.

What do you guys think?:4tongue:

Very cool. Can't wait to see them on your FX. Really never seen FX's in your color that are rimmed up. You are going to stand out.

Congratulations on the screw up in your favor!

So let's face it. I'm the conservative one in these circles.......

Around where I live they use a fair amount of salt and chemicals on the roads in winter. That isn't always the best thing for chromies....... or so I'm told.

They don't use salt up here only cinders.

Used them all last winter in up to two feet of snow and they worked great. Keep in mind mine is an AWD.
I'm going to run my 18's this winter for two reasons-
1) My 22's are deep dish and collect allot of snow and cause wheel imbalance.
2) There a pain in the ass to keep clean.
Even though the 22's work good a dedicated snow tire will allway's be better and a narrower tire has getter traction in the snow as well.

I saw MTNs wheels at the recent meet. I've seen his pics of his snow covered FX and I was shocked how great the chrome finish looks in person. I was expecting alot of damage from the snow and ice but I didn't really see any.

I kept a coat of Ice Protectant sealer on the rims and didn't buff them off.
