22" Tire Recommendation for Tire eating machine...

I've been dead here for a bit... and I'm on my second set of Nexens (in about 18k miles) with 3 degrees in front and 4 degrees in the rear of camber. I'm sick and tired of the noise the Nexens make. I need a quiet tire that will stick in the canyons. Looks like there are more tires available in 285/35/22. Please share your experience!!! I've been looking at the Continental ExtremeContact DWS06.. heard good things about them. Don't want to spend too much on tires, but also don't want a headache from noise.
 
I highly recommend Yokohama Prada Spec X. They're quiet for sure, but no experiences with canyon roads.
 
I loved my Kook's, and in the rain I felt they were better than the Parada's, but I don't really have a perfect comparison because I changed my suspension completely when I switched tires.

Overall I think you will be happy with either the kooks or the Parada's

When I purchased my new tires a couple months ago, the Hankooks were avail again.

Tire rack has them listed as "new"... So yep they've been re-release!

Lol deft feel your pain on the noise I just got 22s and have the nexens roadian. Although the grip and feel does feel good I do have some noise specially from the front tires. I have the parada x on the Stock 20s and like everyone mentioned they see great. These are only my summer set up so I don't mind the noise a bit plus the Ark growl kinda takes over anyways

Honestly with that kind of camber, your tire life doesn't sound that bad - 2 sets in 18k. Have you thought about flipping the tires? I do that as it's camber wear that happens quickest. I'm at -3 front and rear right now. In the rear I get about 10k per side then I flip and can get another 7-8k. There's no way you're going to see 50-60k with so much camber. And it's really the camber that's causing noise because it impacts the wear pattern. I run Nexens (SU1) and they were quiet for a while but get noisier with wear.

I do flip my tires and I just flipped the 2nd set and I went down to the Valley Pit and I kind of put some premature wear on them if you know what I mean :) Yup my Nexens get really noisy once they wear down a little bit.

Just double checked the Hankook Ventus STs looks like they don't have it in 285/35/22... I'm leaning towards the Continentals or the Yokos right now.
 
Mine is dropped over 4 inches too and my camber isn't too bad... I'll hafta find my latest 4-wheel alignment sheet... In the front, I'm pretty sure it's zero... In the rear I believe it's under 2 degrees...

Keep in mind I dont have any camber adjusting control arms...
 
If you're on coilovers, the fronts should be adjustable enough for you to get within at least a decent margin... Mine are able to be almost zero straight out of the box... My rears needed a camber correction kit (1st Gen)... I thought the camber adjusting control arms were just for the rears on the 2nd Gens?
 
Oh I thought you had a second gen thats why I was wondering how you have so little camber. There is no way to adjust camber with the coilover because it has double wishbone suspenion up front so there are no camber plates on the top hat.
