22" rim question

ok, ive done some searching and i think i want to get the 265/40/22 rims. my question is, i am getting H&Rs installed, and i was wondering if there will be any rubbing problems, and how the tires will look (flush, gap in wheel well, etc). anyone knowledgable here on the subject? not sure what the offset is, but they are Black Fusion Nitros. thanks for any help! oh, i have a 2003 FX35!

yeah, those are the ones im looking at...lol. just wondered if the fx45 was different than the fx35. sorry if its a dumb question. he didnt state what the offset was. thank you!

No it'll be pretty much the same and there are no dumb questions bud.

I have FX45 specific H&Rs on mine 53045 and the FX35 has 53043 per their PNs. Lowering is listed as the same for both models, so it'll be just fine.

I am running 22x9 wheels with +15 offset and 265/40/22's and H&R springs with no rubbing issues whatsoever.

depends on rim width too but if they are 9" & you used a 20mm spacer, your end result would be exactly the same as mtn fx's +15 offset, & he said he has no rubbing issues. check out some pictures of his fx to see how that exact fitment would look. spacer size is deducted from rim offset to see the end result actual offset, so a +35 with a 20mm spacer is effectively a +15 end result.

ya, that's what I was trying so say. 20 is safe. 5 mil more than that & you may rub. Tire size & brand should also be taken in consider.. They all have diff bulge. Some more, some less

My boo. It's not wrong, it's actually right on . . but a 285 would fit rather nice IMO, so might as well get a fatter tire, smaller sidewall, like a 35, & just skip the spacers altogether. Or you can get like a 285/35, a 10 or 15mm spacer & have everything looking fat & well fitted . . & a teeny bit of rim protection as a bonus. Thas what I would do
