Thanks guys. The way I'm starting to look at it is this.....If I get the 20" wheels AND tires for less than I can replace a set of tires, I really can't go wrong. If I decide I hate the 20" rims for whatever reason, I can just go back to the 21s the next time I need tires. Sell the cheap rims and call it good. If I love the them, it appears that lots of FX35 owners are in the market for the 21s, so they'll be easy to sell.
I have to say I do feel fortunate to live in Ca. as I don't have the "winter, summer" tire swap issues. I've always loved that I don't have to "winterize" my motorcycles either! lol. I am moving to Idaho in a few years, so maybe I'll have to deal with it then.
So....can you now recommend which 20" tires I might want to go to? Keep in mind...I DRIVE my FX and love those fast, curvy roads....but, I also have to commute.
