Would a 20x10 inch rim fit the 1Gen with an offset of +25..? I am pretty sure the backs will be fine but what about the fronts?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the DR has 22x10 but has +35..

But I don't know the difference in +25 vs +35 though

so inner clearence will be fine but they will probably stick out past the fender?

you gotta be able to turn & steer them too

stock are 8" +40, if I went 10" in the front I'd want to add one inch inside & one outside to where the stock wheel fits. if you made an 8" +40 rim into a 10" with the same +40 offset that would be the result, one extra inch inside & one outside. it would sit like a stocker with a 25mm spacer, pretty out there but I think ok.

a 10" +25 wheel will be out 15mm more than that. it would sit like a stock wheel with a +40 spacer, think it might be too much. I'm kinda guessing & just doing the math & just judging from what I think though, if docs running 10" +35 gotta see if he thinks his setup could take another 10mm pushed out without rubbing...sidewall will come in to play too when your pushing it this much too I think.

scratch that idea, looking at docs thread, if I went 10mm more it would look like I am running daytons.:6wink:.. Thanks for the help.

I don't think it will work because I rub a bit in the front now with my 10 and +35. I do have a bit of a bulge with my pirelli's but if I went with a 295 then there would be no rubbing at all.

Jeff, it maybe possible but you would probably have to go with a stretched out tire to pull it off, possibly 285's??? any smaller and I think you will have issues on a 10 inch wheel. I would advise against it especially sine you are lowered.

10" front wheel ideal would probably be +40, that'd be 5mm in from your setup doc. have you ever looked to see how much room you have on the inside with the wheel full locked side to side? that'd be a good measurement to have

True and plus I plan on changing to kyb's with cut H&R's..

So no go on these rims http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whee...lse&filterBrand=O.Z.&filterNew=All&sort=Brand (painted black of course)

the 20x8.5's would work but the price on the 10's are better. Too bad bc is not selling his anymore, but I would need spacers.

The edge of the wheel would not be outside the wheel wells. My HREs were 22x10 +22.5. The tires rubbed but there was a good amount of sidewall bulge.

Look up issas iforged. They were 20x10 +40 an he added spacers but I can't remember what size it was using a 295/45-20. I'm away from my pc. 22x9 +15 is somehwere near that already, like 37mm wider than stock which you alreay tried with the Ordens. Slightly shorter tire could help as well.

I was thinking about the Ultraleggeras for a loong while as well.. I think the first guy to get it at the .org had the 8.5 size you see in the link but it had too much bulge even with 275/45s IMO.

Before getting my 22s, I was thinking about the 20x10 size:

I don't think it'll be light enough for your needs though Jeff.. It won't rub for sure though..

Those are nice but i really wanted them for the weight. I could probably get the sidewall to look nice with a 20x8.5 if I got a lower aspect ratio.. my speedometer might be off by 5mph though. I plan on cutting some h&r's also so a lower aspect ratio might look nice with the extra drop, then again I would need spacers with the black 20x8.5's...
