20's VS. 22's pros/cons

U should buy my rims....you're basically stealing them from me at the price we discussed! :wink (2):

with stock height and running 22" rims what profile tires should i get? right now i've got 265/50/20s and it fills up the gap pretty good. i dont think a lower profile without a drop looks good. so what size what u guys recommend if i were to go the 22" route?

Well, depending on the width of the wheels you choose with stock height, 265/40 is a good place to start. But you will really need a drop. 22s will make the fender gap more pronounced in my opinion. It's hard to tell if Van's white FX has a drop or not in the pics. It looks like H&R to me.

I had huge wheel gap since my tires were extra skinny at 285/30/22 so the H&Rs were a necessity...pics above are with the H&Rs installed. I'd say go with 285/35/22....

Definitely recommend the H&Rs which were one of my favorite mods. Huge improvement in looks & handling without really sacrificing comfort. You'll sacrifice more comfort by going to 22's than lowering it!

Agreed with the stock wheels looking bigger than 20's with lip. I love my stockers but I jus wish they were a lot lighter
