2017 r35 gtr facelift talk!

Ok guys. I was hyped for 2 cars releasing at the NY AUTO SHOW: 2017 qx70 and the 2017 GTR R35. The qx70 disappointed me and that knocked one car off of my list. The 2017 GTR is being fully released tommorow. Ive been interested in buying a GTR as some of you know. But i have alot going on in life. Ive set my goal of purchasing a R35 it just a matter of when.

Heres a rare sneak peek for you guys before the car is revealed to the public lol.

New for 2017 is a refreshed interior, refreshed body (front bumper, v motion grille, rear diffuser, side skirts) and possibly a power upgrade. The GTR has been out for almost 9 years now (worldwide) and Nissan doesnt fail to keep this car looking modern. Let me know what you think!

they have all looked the same to me for the last 9 years but probably because I never looked at one too long as I was scared that the ugliness will burn my eyes out

Here are some images that were released a couple minutes ago.
Im digging the exterior and the more angled body lines. The interior is much more comfortable looking than the pre-facelift R35. IMO there is too much going on in the dashboard coming down to the center console. The steering wheel looks great, but... THE PADDLES ARE MOUNTED TO THE WHEEL. The previous model R35 had the same paddles we have in the FX/G37 etc. They are so good but Nissan decided to put them on the wheel. What do you guys think?

Looks nice...I love the gtr and want to get one soon as well but the design is getting outdated badly. I have been hoping and waiting for a total redesign. Until then I'm going to wait.

I really like the new one. I think it's a beautiful machine, and that color in particular, is my favorite.

I've thought the inside needed a face lift for awhile... it was simple, but almost too simple/bare for a $100K vehicle.

Paddles on the wheel are better IMO.

Kinda sad that the real Top Gear guys aren't going to be able to review. :disapointed:

yea the r36 gtr is probably a hybrid drivetrain and might be based on the 2020 concept from 2014

Reminds me of the LFA up front with those side vents and seems like a wider, more square look. I'm sure it'll be a hell of a car like always.

Looking at the first pic at a real quick glance it has a Dodge Charger look. Sure it is all about the angle...
