2017 QX70 Limited

2017 Infiniti QX70 facelift.... illestfx35 opinions...
1) that whole front bumper/fascia looks like it belongs on a sentra
2) LED drls shouldve never been mounted. looks like they trying to make it look like a curved vettel edition fascia
3) wheels are questionable but cleaner lines that the current 20s wayyy worse than the current 21s
4) them CLEAR TAILLLLLS THOOOO!!! I loved them on the Vettel Edition and if the final car has these tails Im picking them up right away... and my left tailight is cracked so i need them anyways.
5) interior...... I like it but I dont. It is nice but it doesnt flow with the car... looks like West Coast Customs took the inside and kitted it out. I do like the suede on the headliner and dash though.

Conclusion: I still like my 2010 FX35... even if this new one comes with the VR30DeTT...( highly doubt it, 3.7 badge on the one in the picture is telling me enough) i will keep mine :) just put a fresh vq35hr in mine and boost her. Infiniti STEP IT UP! Infiniti can do wayyyy better especially with the new q60 coupe and even when the q50 sedan release i was amazed. Im very disappointed at all the qx60,70,80 refeshes

Sounds good and waiting will probably be good, my wife keeps asking why I'm looking for new parts since I haven't even hardly driven it yet. I just like to chrome look since I got the Pearl White, the red just doesn't look good.

That was my thoughts also with my FX.

Hopefully they integrated brake & running lights to the inner hatch lens. That would deffinitely make em more desirable

Overall not really liking this limited model. Hate the wheels, front LED DTRL and the quilted 2 tone interior is horrendous... it doesn't fit the sport styling of the QX70. That type of interior works good on a Benz. I do like the clear tails and the front grill though.

Until they invest in the drivetrain and handling components, I don't see any real movement in sales. These are mere cosmetic changes, and likely expensive ones and would seem to miss the mark as to who would consider a QX70 in the first place. Does someone buy a sport oriented vehicle with a plush interior?--it would not make the ride any smoother.

they dropped the ball on this one and they have been going with this body style for a long time. But infiniti does that, the models seem to never change!!

wishlist. Need a retro version that brings back the Gen 1 look. More power, less weight, lower center

that is just crazy talk. Not like this brand some kind of cult following like VW or something so they bring back the retro version and all the die hearts wet themselves haha But I know it's just wishful thinking

Gawd, I hate the whole quilting look of the seats and even worse with the 2 tone white. And, did they really need to quilt the console arm rest cover too? Ugh!

Those quilted seats remind me of a 1950's GM product. ('55-57 Chevy Bel-Air for example)
No real change on the exterior, no V8, and that "QX name". Bring back FX.:good:

Looks like a video ad for body kits for the 2017 QX70.....(on a loop)

2nd generation still looks very fresh and looks the same to me lol...
Not impressed Ricer look, do not like LED fogs and clear lights, nice interior
About darn time to offer a completely new body/engine

Super disappointing.

Rear Lights - I love them on Gen1s, but these look bad. No interest in swapping mine out.
Front Bumper - They tried too hard
Wheels - Awful
Interior - Nice looking, but probably a pain to maintain. Also lame there is no sport seat with the adjustable lower bolster.

Without bias, I actually prefer my QX70S. I prefer the wheels, exterior trim/details, and rear lights. While black leather isn't the most exciting, it's timeless and practical and it's also quilted with sport seats and the blue stitching gives it enough character and touch.
