Yeah, for the complaints of the number of QX70s that are sold, the 50 is less than half of that volume. Hopefully this is a sign that the new 70 is in the works.
 
Man Infiniti designers are pretty stupid. Knowing how much of a failure this car was they should have really worked on designing something sick and that would actually sell.
 
It's the feminine FX--basing that off the one my wife used to own. Built on a G platform, the thing is fast and pretty nimble. Trunk isn't the biggest (neither is the FX of course), but it beats a car-sized trunk. But it sells for too much of a premium over the G so she went the G route with her new Infiniti.
 
I've said this in the thread talking about when the 3rd Gen FX would be released, but Infiniti is really really lazy, their entire lineup is just getting a little long in the tooth. Don't get me wrong, I still love my 2nd Gen FX, its just I would like to see Infiniti step it up. First they need to step it up with their mid cycle refreshes and make more improvements, second they need to bring new generation models to the market sooner, typically a generation lasts 6 years.

An example is we've seen/heard the Q30/QX30 concept way before all the other luxury badge's subcompact SUV were even announced. Out of no where, all competitors have something like this in the market, like the GLA, Q3, new X1 also Lexus's NX. These companies bring these models to the market quick time, all the while the Q30/QX30 only have concept photos from over 2 years ago.

About QX30, yes the partnership between infiniti and mercedes has created that. They say it's only frame of GLA, but i would be tempted to say like BMBLBEE


Honestly, i hope that infiniti will do something really nice for next QX70, and bring back something better than the 3.7 in Canada, because they don't sell 5.0 anymore (no offense for 3.7 owners, it's a great motor, but i bought my FX for the 5.0, the only reason)

There are EXs everywhere here in Colorado Springs. Lots of FXs, too, but the EXs are far more common to see on the roads.
 
And so the EX / QX50 proudly declared: "When I grow up, I want to be a FX/QX70!"

Infiniti CEO: "Sure my dear." then whispers inaudibly "dream on"...
