2016 Infiniti QX70

I'd like to see a turbocharged/supercharged power plant in the Gen3 edition of the FX. Something similar to what Audi has done with the first S-badged SQ5. It's got a 3.0-Liter Supercharged V6 with 354-hp and clocked 0-60 at 4.8-seconds = quicker than the FX50 by a nose. Thats probably more likely since Infiniti killed off the 5.0-liter engine. A boosted V6 will meet the ever-so stringent Fed EPA standards, where big V8s are not and getting harder to meet.
 
Well I have now owned for 15 QX70S for a month and overall I'm very happy with it. Only minor complaints. Obviously the "missing" Akebonos are top that complaint list. What sucks even more is that they a standard overseas but not even an option here in North America. I'm in Canada btw. Although braking is fine, coming from a Q50 with Akebono I can feel the difference. And on that note, I'm buying a set of Akebonos this week. They are a direct bolt up with rotor shield trimming to fit the larger rotors.

Another thing is the Sport package, which is a must IMO due to the striking appearance details, which is not complete IMO. They left the window trim and door handles chrome which doesn't suit the overall blackout theme that the other Sport package features behold. So to remedy this, I have already wrapped the window trim gloss black and will be having the handles painted to color match the body.

Now for the front end lighting, standard bulb fogs and headlight accent lighting look out of place seeing as most cars as transitioning to LED. My 2014 Q50 had all LED head and fogs. The first thing I did to mine was swap out the fogs to LED.

After I get my BBK, I will be lowering about 2 inches all around on coilovers and eventually doing an exhaust. That should pretty much sum up my plans for this one until the new model comes out.
 
I was talking to the dealership yesterday and they said that the '16 QX70 will have a new head/tail light style that is more in the spirit of the '16 Q60. No word on a beefier power plant.

So will it actually be a next-gen QX70 model or the same gen with updated styling?
 
Is the 14 any different than the 09+? I know they changed the name but the vehicles are still the same, unless I am missing something.

on another note, I spoke to a friend who works at the port in LA. The 2016MY QX70s have started arriving and there are no changes. Looks like a redesign for 2017MY due late next summer.
 
I would like to buy or exhaust muffler to their 2014 QX70 3.7 V6 ividia or garmini what do you recommend, and if someone has to sell
