That’s right unless you have Nav you get no Bluetooth for music just phone...the usb cable works tho....lol

Lol dang, im actually thinking about putting the tesla style 12 inch deck.
I actually just put one in...it’s really really nice looking...not so fast tho...at the moment I was only able to find one from Phoenix android radio, they have pretty good support, you just have to be patient they don’t respond right away. My biggest problem is the speed of the unit it self..it struggles to play music and use navigation at the same time...looking back at it now I wish I had bought the grom Vline. Even when using the CarPlay dongle it still struggles from time to time using Nav and pandora simultaneously ...you would think it wouldn’t since all its doing is mirroring what’s on my phone...oh and the sound....the amplification that comes with it sucks...definitely not enough power...it distorts at high volume..it’s crazy to think the factory Bose actually put out more power...I am now looking into a full audio system since I hate the way it sounds now...I don’t know I’m on the fence..maybe I’ll sell my screen..

I dont need da Navi i live in the Virgin Islands 32 sq miles.. I just want to be able to bluetooth and want to know of the touch screen is responsive and the use of the touch screen to control
the AC. I also do bot want to lose my steering wheel Oem button control

@QX70lvr305- what model Phoenix system did you install? I was looking at their web site and they have two different models, one of them is $70 more expensive and it specifically calls out 6 cores [PX6 SIX-CORE]. I am wondering if that gives better performance when running multiple apps like music, maps, etc...

That’s great that they finally have the px6 for the qx70....I have the px3 and I love it but when I use the dongle for Apple car play I have some audio issues when using Waze or Google maps at the same time. It’s either the head unit or the dongle causing the audio to cut in and out sporadicly.

Also not sure how loud you like to play music but the amplification on the px3 model isn’t that great. The factory Bose was better matched to the speakers. I am working on upgrading my entire audio system now

Thanks for the info! I have the Bose system too, but worried about the sound quality if I use this Phoenix system. When you say your upgrading your entire system... are you replacing the Phoenix unit with some other manufacturer's solution, or are you adding an amp to help control the sound better? If you are choosing another manufacturer's solution, what information did you find that pushed you towards that other solution?

By upgrade entire system I’m talking about my speakers and amplification. The Phoenix android just doesn’t have enough power with the built in amp. I’m going to be adding an Audio Control DSP amp, I haven’t made up my mind on speakers yet.
