IF YOU CONFIRM: A clunk or groan type noise is coming from the A/C compressor during initial engine start-up. - The engine was started for the first time after the vehicle has sat over night OR - The engine was started for the first time after sitting (not running) for a few hours. ACTION: 1. Refer to step 6 in the SERVICE PROCEDURE to confirm this bulletin applies to the vehicle you are working on. 2. If this bulletin applies, reprogram the ECM. See this bulletin for further detail.
