Not sure how many people have seen this, but this is a good looking package that they've put together. I especially like the wheels, they look like the intake on a jet engine...

Circle Infiniti in W. Long Branch, NJ (where I just bought my '08 FX35) has 2 of the 550 total made. They had one on the showroom floor....absolutely stunning color in person....stickered at 55k!!!!!!

Infiniti of Lisle in the 'burbs of Chicago had one sitting out (at least 3-4 weeks ago) on their display row. I must say the color was not my thing. The wheels were....different. Not bad.
I did like the gunmetal looking side vents. Hated the chrome accented fog lamps.

All in all, marginal changes...nothing drastic. Even the grill, though different, is not a monumental departure from the previous look.

Saw this today in person at the dealer. I was leaving, but it caught my eye as I was going out the door. I love the front end, and the paint looks awesome. It's basically a dark blue metallic. I wish I had taken pics, since there don't seem to be too many yet.

Would not mind picking one up used in 3-4 years, depending on how things have gone at that point.

Heres a pic of the one I saw in NJ

Nice, I keep seeing a few in Chicago, downtown loop -- except it's just the wheels! Someone must have snagged a set.

I saw one on the road yesterday, well parked. The weather was bad so it didn't look as good. Still had the temp plates. I actually almost hit while doing a u-turn, had to stop and back up a little since I didn't want to risk it.

A guy in the town I work in just bought one. The paint is awesome...the wheels I don't like much. I was surprised to learn that you only get about half of the Deluxe Touring package; you cannot get climated controlled quilted leather seats or maple trim.

Saw the LE at Tustin Infiniti today. I still like the color - wife thought it was too bright of a hue. I've always loved the wheels, but they did look a little toned down in person.

I've liked the impeller wheels but they have been on my mind recently because I questioned the design. Today I checked the LE out at Riverside Infiniti and confirmed my thoughts. The spokes are not symetrical and the wheel really should be uni-directional. They use a clockwise design for both sides of the vehicle instead of also using a counter clockwise design. I completely realize that using different right and left configurations would be an all around PITA and add production costs, but it bothers me just a little bit.
I wonder if the right side brakes stay significantly cooler than the left?
Yes, I am incredibaly anal. Such a small detail should not bother me, but for some reason it does.
