Hello Infiniti family! I want to install paddle shifters. I did not find the wiring harness prewired and the bracket is not pre installed either. Can anyone share a thread for the install? Snapchat-41523918.jpg

Sweet ride. I've always loved the LE's and those impeller wheels.
What's the 1 of 8 in the US part?

Thanks! There's only 8 of this specific model in the US with the Aero full body kit. Fun fact for everyone, the impeller wheels don't need any balancing!! This means when you install new tires, you don't need to do the balancing process. The engineers designed these wheels like this.

For real? It hard to believe!

Never heard of any fx that comes with the front aero lip. Where did you hear this? Wheels that don't need balancing? Never heard of that either. Where can I read about this rare fx and those wheels?

U and I One..... In the kindest spirit of this amazing and helpful FX community we have here, I think maybe, just maybe, you may have been sweet talked by a smooth salesman. Even if the rims were as perfect as perfect can be, the inconsistency of tires and mounting them are reasons for wheel balancing. That's why wheels get rebalanced with tire changes. And the wheel weights move positions as well. Regardless, the impeller rims are still sweet as hell. Notice that all the wheels have same vane direction... So one side of your car will get the bonus brake cooling effect from the blades forcing air inward. When explaining this to someone, just ignore the other side which would be blowing the air outward. Or, cool your brakes on the sunny side when driving a certain direction, and disregard the shady side. ;)

As a mechanic, whom also installs tires, I can assure you that there is no wheel made that requires the tires to not be balanced. It’s the tires, not the wheels, that need balancing.

Who told you this info?

the closest you can come to mounting a tire without needing balancing is that some tire manufacturers put a red dot on the outside rubber which should line up with the valve stem, and even this factor is a matter of debate.

That from bumper cover/ground effect/ “lip” is readily available on eBay.

In your case, personally, my primary concern would be that someone mistreated the car. You may have a previous owner who babied it and just liked the looks, or you may have had someone who raced it. I’d be flushing every single fluid in the drivetrain and engine before I do anything else.
