i recently did the nissan leaf tour and drive and joined a contest. long shot, but im giving it a try since the prize is a nissan leaf. id like to ask for your vote via the link at the bottom of this post.
this was the actual leaf i drove. the actual test drive was short but the whole event was awesome. the car itself drives like a normal car except the lack of sound and the extra touchy regenerative brakes. great acceleration feel since it has instant torque. drive felt connected to the road.
prior to the drive, drivers including myself were taken to different booths for info sessions on nissan's ev history, battery and charging, ev vs conventional vehicles, and miles and range presentations. socal edison and another rep (home charger manufacturer) were
there to answer questions.
