2011 g37 4 door keyless entry not responding

Decided to post this question here since a lot of users also own other vehicles from Infiniti.

My mom just purchased a 2011 G37 4 door and non of the key fobs will work to unlock and lock the car. Thought it might be the battery but once inside the car the car will start without having to insert it into the key fob ignition. Any ideas on why the key fobs aren't working?

So you mean you can't hit the unlock button on the fob? Or is it the keyless entry? Seems weird that it would recognize the key to start but nothing else.

The lock, unlock, alarm, and pop trunk do not respond. But when u walk up to the car you can use the outside lock/unlock buttons on the door handles. Can't figure it out.

Wow that is weird. Seems like it should be the opposite. Too bad it's Sunday, or I would say just call the dealer and ask. I wonder if there's something in the computer where you can turn the feature on/off?

It kinda sounds like when they sold it, they forgot to turn on something with new car prep.

Thats what I'm thinking. When we first picked it up the clock wasn't running but the dealer told us to just press in one of the fuses that is halfway in and it will start. Maybe there is something with the Key Fob that also needs to be activated. Didn't give the dealer much time to prep the car since we picked it up as it was getting delivered.
