2011 FX at OC Autoshow

Went to Orange Count Autoshow yesterday looking for the 2011 FX. My primary goal was to take a look at the power rear liftgate.

They had a 35 and a 50S, the 35 had the liftgate locked and no power to the car. The 50S had electricity, but there was no power liftgate. I remember reading on the Infiniti website that the power liftgate was late availablility.

So the early adopters of 2011 FX are screwed, the only thing worth looking forward to on the 2011 FX, is not here yet.

BTW the FX50S was (I believe) the new color Malbec Black, which is like a really dark purple/black color. Not bad, but I wish the FX had the new M's gray metallic.

damn, LA Auto show seems to be moving up earlier and earlier every year, I remember there was a time when it came around in Jan.

that's still the LA autoshow. The one I attended was Orange County autoshow, which is a lot smaller in scale, and is at Anaheim convention center rather than LA convention center.

The LA autoshow has been moved to Nov/Dec for the past few years, to avoid being hosted at the same time as Detroit Autoshow in Jan.
