2010 Paddle Shifters

Sounds great, hopefully your bracket will allow all four mounting points of the paddles to be bolted on. Infiniti removed all the mounting points for 2012 FX models and up.

The bigger question is, did Infiniti leave behind the electronics/software to allow for paddle shifters?

Do you have any photos to show? Also it is 2014, so when you state you will have on eBay in 2014, please be a bit more specific.

In my country!
There is not bracket mount on every QX70(Including FX35 / FX37) and QX50(Incuding EX35 / EX37)!
Most of QX70 keep wire and connectors , but a few QX70 cars don't keep wire and connectors.
Every QX50 doesn't keep bracket, wire and connectors.
So, I think every QX50 and QX70 could be installed the paddle shifter!
There is no problem to use paddle shifter in US!

The bracket will be showed on eBay in summer (April or May) 2014.

Based on these photos, can't really see how well this will hold the paddles to the steering column although the thickness of the bracket looks good. Are the connectors going to be just like OEM where they plug into each paddle and "click"? How will the wire hook into the back of the control box? Will it be just two wires with the right pins plugged into the existing connector?

The reason I ask all these questions is because I already have all the hardware I need minus the bracket to do the paddle shifter upgrade. Though if this kit is made to work like OEM including the cables and connectors and it will be priced well, then I may consider waiting for it. But 6 months before it goes to eBay is a bit far away for most members on here who are looking to do the mod much sooner than that.

If you installed this on 30+ vehicles, then why would it take until summer 2014 to release? What's the price for this kit?

Usually, I made 5 bracket kits evey time!
But! Now, I only have one sample bracket, others were installed or sold.
I need more time to make more brackets! It is made by machine and handade after work time.
I never sell anythings on ebay, so I must prepare a lot of things to do it.
Forgive me, I can't make it faster.
About price, it is going to be $100~$120.

Here are photos about paddle connectors and part of the bracket.

Q: How will the wire hook into the back of the control box?
A: I don't have any record, so I need time to do it.

Q:Will it be just two wires with the right pins plugged into the existing connector?
A: Not really. Two wires(green and orange) are pluged into the connector behide control box.
The other two black wires are connected to the ground.

Ah okay, thank you for being able to make these, really appreciated. If you get a chance to make one for me, what I can do is create a DIY for all the members here, test it out and do a review. That way it will be easier for everyone else to decide on buying these :) Usually no one wants to be the first but in this case I'll jump on this.

Thank you! I will do my best to do it.
My English is not very well, so I can't express all of my mind!
If you can help me to create a DIY, it could be great.

After finished , I am going to send you a message first.

Thank you very much.

You're quite welcome :) just take your time to make it, rushing can cause all sorts of issues.

Paddle shifters are definitely a must have, I had them in my 09 and now in my 2010 and love them.

I hope.. I need some time to train before then.. I have the paddles, steering cover in a box staring at me.. I was in the midst of making my own mount, I have somewhat of a prototype, but I saw this and figured I'd go with this instead.. Maybe Rex will have one soon..

So - after reading this - I guess I can't get the paddle shifters for my '12, right? Or I can but need to buy a set of these extra brackets?

You need this bracket and the cables it comes with, Infiniti removed all four mounting points and the harness. Then you need the steering cover and paddles. Once you have the bracket, you can mount the paddles, then plug the cables in the paddles and the more fun part is running the cables to the back of the control box sitting on top of the CD player.
