Two weeks ago, i went on a 500 miles trip and on the way home i hit a large pothole somewhere in Los Angeles. The rest of the trip i can feel slight vibration on the steering wheel. So today, i took my ride to the dealership and found out my driver front side strut is leaking. The dealership is charging me $1600 plus labor for the two front struts. Is that reasonable price? What are my other options? OBTW, i'm on lowering springs and i like the ride height. Thank you.

Dont do it! You can get new coilovers on all fours, installed. For less than that. Then set the height wherever you want it. Can even set it exactly where it currently sits

+1... Ride quality is also improved on coilovers IMHO...

Do i need drop links for the swaybar if i drop it lower than what i have now? Which coilovers are the best bang for the money? Megan or BC?

I don't think you need anything extra... What year is your FX? That'll determine what coilover options you have...

people have complained on here that those coilover kits don't seem to last so do your research. if you like the current ride comfort and the height then just buy an oem or aftermarket replacement and get a local shop to install for about $100 in labor each. you may also need strut mount/bearings replaced at the same time..

Mine is still going strong. Lifetime Replacement cost from BC I think is $100 a corner.

Are these coilovers this bad? I guess depending on how hard you ride them?

If i go oem struts should i buy two struts and replace both front struts or i can just replace the bad one?

I'm thinking i should go ahead and replace both.

I paid $130 for a new front shock body in late 2015. A rebuild is $90. It started leaking after 30k. That's not too bad for aftermarket suspension.

That's not bad at all! I wonder what they would charge me being in Canada... There's a Canadian office for BC now... I guess I should just ask them LOL...
