2009 Infiniti FX (FX35 / FX50)

Keep in mind, that it wont look exactly like that. Offset was made more aggressive for this shot, & it's wearing fatter rubber.

Rails is a plus on the FX and even on the 09 too. This new design will keep growing on all of us as time goes by but on pure styling the 1st gen looks cleaner. And I also like the straight line side profile instead of the angled front to back on the new design.

Hey Infiniti, please send one to my house for reviews and testing......PPLLLEAASSEE

Prrettty Pllleeeasseee...:flute::dontknow:

No Doubt.

in the beginning with the spy photos, i was not convince of the new SUV, but after saw the currently final ones , there's not doubt the superiory of the new re-desing, but i must confest i don't like either the new curve design of the tail lights and obviously they need to do clear as least for option.

does any of you guys has idea how much is going to cost ? or starting price? for the fx 35 and fx 50?

Just wait till we mod one up. I was playing around a little, & You guys are gonna really like it in modd'd form. It's gonna make our rides look dated a bit.

Still pretty disappointed with the exterior styling. Interior looks great though and paddle sifters too!

+1 Love the interior look... though if it's anything like the new G35 sedans the plastic materials may be a bit on the cheap side (This is based off the numerous loaners I've driven).

I've said it once and I'll say it again (Not sounding like a current FX fanboy just because I own one... I give credit when credit is due...) What made the FX such a beautiful car from 03-08 is its lines. The new evolution is completely screwed up. It doesnt flow well at all.

who makes 21" wheels or tires...honestly...

why not 20 or 22?!

Alpina B7

i'm agreed with you, but you have to live with that ! the new FX is the rule
hasn't anyone ever heard of shaving? add 2k to the price of the fx & no more vents, 2k'll get yah both fenders removed, holes filled, back on & blend the doors, perfect job, no more vents, wha da probem is?

as far as it looking like an ex, the c class was a copy of the s class for a few years, didn't make the s anything less, would it have felt better if the new fx came out before the ex? then the ex woulda copied the fx, don't see why that matters so much really.

also, our fx now is really a beautiful machine, no question, but to like the new one doesn't mean you have to like the current one any less, alot of guys seem like they have to choose between the 2 & love the current one so much that they feel they can't love the new one, I love the old one just as much as the new, some things I like better of the old, some I like better of the new, it's ok to like both:biggrin:

what ever is ugly of the new can be modded, just like whatever is ugly of the old same thing... if the current fx was so perfect, why is there changing of wheels, modifying lights, custom grilles, man, theres even guys who had to hack up there dash & shove flip out screens where they wouldn't fit..., that's more perfect?

I'd say step back & look at the big picture, it's ok to apreciate the new & still love the old too:smile: I fell in love with my fx for what it was, but also for the potential it had, if i was forced to have to keep it exactly like it was when I first got it I don't think I would have even wanted it so much really, if/when I get the new one I will change whatever I don't like, at least they upped the screen size to 8"(hope they really mean 8.4"), shaved gills, dropped on 22's, paint all the lower plastics, gut that grille for sure & do something there..., I see a lot of potential.... I want to play with it:xd:
